Beta 2 is an incremental release on the way to a stable version of 1.0.0 - it mainly focusses on bug fixes. Download it here!
If the data on your forum is important, you should probably back it up before you upgrade! If you have any problems with the upgrade process, post in this conversation.

Enhancements:
Bug fixes:
addslashes() to $esoTalk->db->escape().Aluminium! I have waited for this for long time.
Ooooh new Mac OS X look skin! I can't wait to try it
Is the upgrade suppose to be instant without a message saying the upgrade was a success? Didn't even tell me I should delete my /upgrade
Nope, you should get an upgrade success message like normal. Maybe try reverting the esoTalk version in config/versions.php to 1.0.0b1 and running the upgrade again?
Nice, I'll have to upgrade tomorrow since it's getting late. Don't forget to post b2 on github

That worked, thanks. Are shouts still bugged I'm guessing? I still get fatal errors when loading profiles.
I'll try it and write a SMTP plugin (if I manage it…) this evening or tomorrow. Nice work!

You'll need to download a new b2-compatible version of Shouts from the plugins page.

Alright, shouldn't it have come with the b2 anyway? Why bundle broken plugins with a newer beta? Maybe I'm just confused.
Nope, the only plugins included in the esoTalk package are Emoticons, Debug, and Captcha. Your broken Shouts plugin must've remained from your previous installation.

Perhaps that should have been in the readme
or maybe we should have some system in place to check for available plugin updates? That could even be a plugin itsself.

Something for 1.1 maybe? http://github.com/tobyzerner/esoTalk/issues#issue/62

但是有几点是不足的:
不支持视频,图片不能上传图片文件.
望改进.
另外,建议整合一下 UCHOME.
I really suggest you to use English in this forum, because there are not many people who understand Chinese here.
Video support and image attachments can be realized by plugins. However, I don't know why esoTalk should be capable with UCenter Home. (Sorry, it is not UCHOME at all.) It is really a trash.

It looks like a Japanese name.
Images can be uploaded to a 3rd party website like tinypic.com imageshack.us photobucket.com and then use the URL to it when you click the image button when creating your post.
at this time esoTalk does not support attachments where you can upload to the forum itsself but it's coming soon.
